Living-Room – Magnificent Treehouses in Wales. Yes Pleases.
To sleep in a treehouse – it’s every child’s dream, isn’t it?
And I’m not sure that it’s one you ever grow out of; the sheer romance of staying in a treehouse, the outdoors-indoors of it has never stopped making me *want*.
So I might’ve let out a not-very-discreet squawk of envy when I saw the beautiful Living-Room site.
Can you just IMAGINE staying in there? I’d never ever want to move out!
On the Living-Room site in Mid Wales (not far from Machynlleth) there are just five individual treehouses, each located in its own natural environment.
The treehouses feature a luxurious double bed and fold down bunk beds, offering comfortable accommodation for two adults and two children (a third child can often be accommodated on a day bed if wished).
The heart of the treehouse is a woodburning stove which heats the treehouse beautifully, making them fabulous year-round adventure options. the woodburner also heats the water that falls from the spring water shower! There is a kitchen – with everything you need to rustle up a tree-top banquet – and your treehouse has an ensuite Swedish compost toilet, high in the treetops!
There is no electricity at Treehouse; with lanterns, tea lights and lamps, nights at Treehouse are romantic and peaceful.
Doesn’t it sound breathtakingly magical?
Generally just two night stays are offered (though you could potentially make two bookings back-to-back for an extended stay), and a 2-night treehouse holiday costs £349 for a family.
