Chateau de la Baudonniere near Avranches, is located in 100 beautiful acres of meadows, lakes, rivers and waterfalls – a backdrop for some great outdoor facilities including an archery range, climbing wall, aeroball, sports courts and a mini-farm. Professionally-instructed activities are tailored to different age groups, with examples including circus skills and treasure hunts for tots; fencing and raft-building for older children; orienteering and t-shirt-making for teens; and clay pigeon-shooting and cider-making for parents. Families get together to tackle assault courses and compete in It’s A Knockout-style contests, and there are guided bike rides, beach and market visits.
For the week beginning August 22, the seven-night Normandy Adventure Holiday is reduced to just £990 for a family of up to five, saving £865 where there are two adults and three children aged 6-15 years, and £510 where there are two children (under-twos stay free).
