Camping BARGAINS in France this August
There’s still time to book that peak season holiday in France – and bag a bargain to boot – is the message from camping and mobile home specialist, Venue Holidays.
Deals include savings of £188 on seven-night holidays at Camping les Deux Fontaines at Raguenes in Brittany where a week’s holiday in a fully-equipped Espace tent from 18 August is now priced at just £381. This ‘small and friendly’ campsite, a 15-minute walk from a glorious sandy beach, has a wealth of facilities including a spectacular heated swimming pool complex, a skate park, tennis and a gym.
In the Charente Maritime on the South West Atlantic Coast, a seven-night break from 22 August at Camping l’Oree du Bois break in a fully-equipped Espace tent now costs £337, a reduction of £183. The campsite, set in woodland with a variety of beaches nearby, features lots of facilities such as a swimming pool complex with slides, fountains and a lazy river, along with cycle hire, a wellness centre and a multi-sports pitch.
Still on the South West Atlantic Coast, but at Les Landes at Messanges, a 10-night holiday in an Espace tent from 26 August at Camping le Vieux Port is now priced at £321, saving £229. The campsite has direct access to a sandy beach and has no less than seven swimming pools in its superb water park, one of the largest campsite water parks in France.
