Win a PGL Family Adventure this summer worth £1200! #WinATrip
We know only too well that finding a holiday to make ALL of the family happy can be quite a challenge! So when PGL Family Adventures asked if you might like to win a family multi-activity holiday this summer, we may have squeaked fast in our speed to say YES PLEASE!
PGL have been creating adventures for children since 1957 – actually, I clearly remember my very first ‘camp’ away from home was a PGL activity holiday when I was 10. And no, that wasn’t the 50’s (how old d’you think I am??), it was the 80’s, and it was a fabulous experience I’ve never forgotten. I properly love that PGL’s tagline is ‘adventure matters’. Because it really really does – and it’s everything that Have Kids, Can Travel is aiming to be about. Last autumn, when we were working on the #GoProAdventures we had the most enormous amount of fun as a family – we climbed and abseiled, went kayaking in a river, played french cricket by moonlight, cycled through a forest, paddled boarded in a calm-as-glass sea (no surfing for us that week…) and dared ourselves to go on the highest ride in the fairground…
Way above all the excitement and screeches of terror laughter was an enormous sense of togetherness. Those triumphantly shared grins-from-the-heart, the bursting-with-pride over each others accomplishments… We all felt it, cherished it, and loved every mad second of it.
Because adventure matters
According to PGL, a multi-activity holiday for the whole family is just…fun. It’s exhilarating. A real hoot with your family.
It’s also a bit different, more challenging, outside your comfort zone. A treasured experience, that’s talked about and remembered. Being away from home, trying new things, gaining confidence, making new friends, being more self reliant, being encouraged to grow.
Enjoying the freedom of the outdoors.
When it comes to growing up and spending time together as a family, PGL think that these things aren’t just important – they’re essential! (“We AGREE!” – team HKCT)
But you already know that. You’re a parent.
That’s why they believe ‘adventure matters’. It’s why they’re here.
Multi Activity is all about packing in lots of different high-quality activities into your holiday to get the most out of each day.
They plan the programme for you, to make the most of every moment and provide a mix that has something for everyone in your family no matter what their tastes, preferences or previous experiences. They also provide a mixture of additional activities into the evening; family quiz nights, karaoke evenings, treasure hunts, discos or a host of other fun ideas.
PGL Family Adventures are fantastic for the whole family to try fun, new activities no matter how diverse your interests. You don’t need any experience or be super fit to join in. With PGL Family Adventures you’ll get time away from all the daily stresses with no TV, tablets or phones to distract you from what really matters – you and your family.
So – have we sold you yet? I hope so. Because PGL are offering us the grand finale of all prizes. Here’s your chance to win a 4 night (Monday – Friday) Multi Activity break at PGL Barton Hall in Dorset, with a start date in August for two adults (18+) and two children (5-18) sharing a family room (dates are subject to availability, and additional children can be added to the booking subject to availability and will be charged at £279 per child). This prize is worth just over £1200!
You know the drill by now – to enter just use the shiny box below, and use as many options as you like.
The closing date for this competition is 22nd March 2015 and only entries received on or before that date can be included. The winner will be the first randomly selected entry. Good luck!
(and when you’re finished entering, don’t forget to check our competitions page to enter the rest!).

Great competitions but why are nearly all of them for places down south, not everyone lives south of Manchester. If you win a holiday to somewhere down south by the time you pay your fare or petrol to get there it is not really a free holiday that you have won. I have noticed this many, many times previously with other companies as well so please play fair and think of people living in the north of England who would very much like to win a holiday but who cannot travel that far to enjoy it. There are actually lovely places up here that you could include in your competitions.
Eileen we tried very hard to cover the whole of the UK – in the end, however, we can only offer the prizes that travel companies kindly offer us. We’re not actually choosing these holidays for you!
