We’ve just spotted that specialist operator, Vintage Travel is offering huge savings of more than 50% on a choice of fabulous villas with private pools on the pretty island of Paxos.
Our top pick is seven nights in Barba Yiannis – a stunning villa (sleeping four) perched high above Gaios town and with glorious views of its harbour and out to sea – half term week is now priced at £595, saving £855! The single storey terracotta roofed house is perfect for families and couples alike.
Some of the outstanding features are the high wooden rafters, thick exposed brick walls that ensure coolness in the heat of the day, and granite tiled floors that complement the soft taupe and fawn hues echoed throughout this charming cottage. Flights arrive into the neighbouring island of Corfu. Clients will be transferred by taxi from the airport to the port to make the (approx 1hr) sea crossing to Paxos as foot passengers. At the end of your holiday, your party will be booked on the appropriate crossing back to Corfu port from where a taxi will take you to the airport in good time for your flight.
